Penny Wars
Beginning APRIL 14, 2010 - Ending April 28, 2010
RULES Each class is a team , so work together. This is a game of strategy. Use your minds! Labeled jars will be displayed during lunch time in the foyer for children to toss coins. Add pennies to your own class jar. Add silver and dollars to other classes jars. All pennies add and all silver and dollars subtract from the class total. This is supposed to be for fun, so remember to follow the rules and listen to the teachers and pto members.
Prizes Class with the highest amount of pennies wins an ice-cream party. Class with the highest total (pennies, silver, and dollars) wins a pizza party.
The money raised will be split equally with the PTO for next year’s assemblies and activities and Pennies for Peace- an organization that teaches children the rewards of sharing and working together to bring hope and educational opportunities to children in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
